Lynda Ward is a social documentary and portraiture photographer who enjoys photographing everyday stories and everyday life. Her focus is on capturing the distinctive qualities and particularities of her subjects in order to reveal their uniqueness and inherent worth.

Lynda's photographs have been published in newspapers and magazines as well as printed in publicity materials as a part of advertising campaigns. Publishers and clients include: The United Methodist News, The Fayetteville Observer, The AWZ Blog (official blog of the U.S. Army Wounded Warrior Project), Methodist University, Shannon Camlin Ward (poet), and ADPi Sorority.

Lynda's photographs have also helped promote actors, artists, singers, and songwriters.

Her photographs have been featured in shows, such as the juried show Crossing Boundaries at Methodist University's McCune International Gallery, as well as at Saint John's Chapel, Cambridge (UK) and at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.

Two of Lynda's photographs won Duke University's 2012 Photography Competition: Interpreting Messiaen’s Visions de l’Amen and were featured in the documentary film.
